Wounded By Capt Ed Hrivnak Check out Captain Ed Hrivnak's book WOUNDED, A legacy of Operation Iragi Freedom. Ed details the challenges of caring for our wounded warriors in the back of the C-141 and C-17 at the start of the second Iraq War in 2003. This book also exposes the grueling days of our Aircrews flying 24 hour plus missions in and out of the desert. Hrivnak served in the 446th AW from 1991 to 2006 as a Loadmaster and then as a Flight Nurse.
